27 dresses.

One of my best friends is getting married this October. I'm super excited to be apart of her big day!
It's been a fun time trying to pick out bridesmaids dresses as well. Lots of pictures back and forth.
I wish we could just go to Macy's or Nordstrom and pick a dress since we would be more likely to wear it again. The hard part with that is finding the dress in all of our sizes in different Macy's in California. I guess that's the good part about Davids Bridal.

We still haven't decided on the dress but here are a few of the ones we tried on. =)

Now it's time to start planning the bachelorette party! VEGAS here we come! =)
I'm not looking forward to being there for my birthday again this year but it will be fun to be with friends. =)

Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo was a really long time ago I realize. Well not that looong ago but it sure feels like it.

My Madre was born on Cinco de Mayo! So my sister and I celebrated with her during the day. We took out to lunch and we got pedicures. It was a fantastic day!

Happy Birthday Mom! =)

Later, I went to a team fundraiser for Relay for Life. One of our teammates hosted a dinner party. We all just paid $10 bucks and she provided a wonderful taco dinner. And someone even had mustaches to play with. No cinco de mayo is complete without one of those. =)

After dinner, the fiesta continued with a whole bunch of friends in Nevada City. It was a very successful day! Lot's of fun!

This summer is shaping up to be a good one! =)

christmas day.

Mine and Anthony's tradition since we have been living together is to lay in bed before getting up on Christmas morning and sing a couple Christmas carols. This year we tried but I kind of have a cold so my throat wasn't having it. Instead we just got up and cuddled up on the couch and opened gifts from each other.

Anthony ALWAYS spoils me. I get him a lot as well but he always out does me. What girl doesn't like that though?

I finally got an iphone! And a pair of Hunter boots! =)

After we were done, we got ready and headed over to his parents house. We opened gifts with his sisters and had a lovely Christmas breakfast. After a few hours we headed over to my aunts house. My dad and step mom were there along with a bunch of cousins, my sis, uncle and step sister too. We snacked and visited. We then opened up gifts. Its always takes a few hours for this activity because we all go one at a time to really show of our presents.
Later, Anthony and I continued on to his grandmas house for Christmas dinner. We had a nice time visiting with more of his family. After dessert, we played a large game of Apples to Apples.

What a day!

I hope every ones Christmas was just as lovely...

now to the new year.

christmas eve.

Christmas Eve.
We always spend it with my mom and step dad at their house.
When we were little we would have a dinner and get to open one present that night then the next morning we would wake up early and open all our presents, then we would leave and go to the numerous relatives houses for the rest of the day. Now that we are older and none of us live at home we have a Christmas eve dinner and spend the rest of evening there and open our presents that night. It's nice.

They got a brand new puppy too!! Her name is Zipp short for Zipporah. She is a great Pyrenees. She is going to be huge!! She is such a cute, mellow pup. I love her!!

Our sheep and goats.

YUM!

sweet pup!

Kogi and Pablo

After Disneyland we hurried and changed, swiped on some more deodorant, and cruised over to Irvine. We had plans to see Pablo Francisco at the Irvine Improv! Erica and I had seen Pablo about 4 years ago at the Punchline in Sacramento so we were looking forward to seeing him again. Before the show we tracked down the Kogi Truck which happened to be in a random parking lot in Irvine.

I was so stoked to finally try Kogi bbq tacos... i know, i know.. it's so 2009.. but i don't care! And guess what?! It was worth the wait. The short rib tacos were bomb!

After scarfing down our food we went over to the show and watched 5 hilarious comedians. It was a very successful day/night and we still had 2 more full days ahead of us! =)

March!

2011 is flying by!!

March came went by so fast that I'm late doing my monthly roundup..but better late than never.
So here goes nothing:

-It rained and snowed pretty much the entire month. Except for the last few days where the sun finally decided to show its self and warm me up!
fyi:California is no longer in a drought because of the record rainfall we experienced!

-Went to Weaverville in Trinity county for a cousins wedding. Had a great weekend getaway with the family. We stayed in a cute Bed and Breakfast.

-Walked in the Mardi Gras Parade for Relay for Life. It was fun! Next year we need to buy more beads though because we ran out!
<span class=

-Celebrated Anthony's 23rd birthday! I took him to a dinner and a movie. I also bought him the P90X system. We also had a party at our house. 19 people in our little apartment! Crazy!

-The next weekend I went to San Francisco with my co-worker and the Sacramento Day trippers to see Rock of Ages! It was soooo fun! I felt like I was at a rock concert. I laughed so much too! I recommend the show!
(Constantine Maroulis from American Idol is the star of the show!)

-I also had a girls night in downtown Sacramento with a couple of my best girls. We stayed out way too late though... 4am is pushing it for my 24 year old body ;)

-Then of course several little dates with Anthony. We are always doing something. Rather it's a quick dinner or a Sunday running errands. But I like to think of all those little things as dates. =)

-Costa Rica planning. Plane tickets purchased.

-Several Relay for Life meetings. Only 2 months away! Crazy!

I think that takes care of most of the main events and highlights from March. I hope the first quarter of the year has been treating everyone well.

Cheers to spring!

January 2011

January

Some of things that happened in the first month of the new year!

*The new year started off good.

Friends+Drinks+Dancing+Themed party+Fun Outfits

*The first week in January I drove down to LA with my friend, Leslie.

Lots of adventures in So Cal!

Plus seeing Erica (my sis) is always a great thing.

*When I came home, I was attacked by a horrible cold. I was down for 5 days with a temperature, achy body, headache.

Lingering cough and stuffy nose that is still here.

*Unseasonably warm weather! I think it rained 2 or 3 times in Jan.

It was wonderful. The sun is still shinning but it's definitely not as warm.

*Fun dates with Anthony.

Seeing a few good movies in theater.

Black Swan, No Strings Attached, and True Grit
*Fun adventures to Sacramento
*Bonfires galore!
*Dinner at my dads house
*Crab feed for the local Sportmans Club. YUMM! All you can eat!
January was pretty good (besides the whole being sick thing). I can't wait for whats in store for the rest of 2011. I have a feeling some pretty big things are going to happen in my life this year.
and now Happy February!
*sorry for the lack of pictures...my computer is still sick.

12.01.2010

it's the best time of the year!

Anthony and I went and picked up our Christmas tree this past weekend. We cut it down ourselves from a farm about 10 minutes out of town. Its the best way to get a Christmas tree! =)
We decorated the tree last night. We put on a few old Christmas records. Sang along. Strung the lights. Decked the halls. It was perfect!

I have most of my old Christmas ornaments that my mom has given me through the years...Plus a box of old vintage bulbs that my great grandmother gave my mom then she gave to me.. (they are my favorite!!) plus my new Star that I bought at Target! It was only $5! woot!

I love how my tree turned out this year. It's short and fat. =)

Hope everyone is enjoying the season so far!
