Four years ago I wrote my first blog post. (CRAZY)

After California voted YES on Prop 8. After Barack Obama become our 43rd president.

Here we are again. After all is said and done. Obama is still our president and I couldn't be happier with that! I know where he stands with a lot of the issues that matter most to me!

As for equality and marriage rights.. Other states last night voted and approved those rights! Progress!! It's awesome to see us moving FORWARD.

I hope we can all come together. Because this is our America. We make it what it is... together.

Mr.President... I salute you.

Damn California....

and half of the people living here... Election day: November 4th, 2008-A chance to make history and we Failed! With a little over 50% of the people voting YES on Prop 8 we now just set a foot back in time. We are once again discriminating against a certain group of people but this time not based on the color of their skin but on their sexual orientation! It's just awful! I hope that someone takes this to the Supreme court and they rule it unconstitutional! I guess I will never understand why people think the way that they do.....

In other election news: The USA as a whole stood together and decided that their next President would be Barack Obama! I was glad to take part in a history making election and to cast my vote... even though i don't agree with some of the decisions.
