Etsy finds!

It was an Etsy Christmas at my house.

I bought a few gifts from the awesome site and I wanted to share with you a few of the fun finds I found.

I absolutely love these ties. You can find them here from Cyberoptix TieLab. The quality is awesome and they even have scarves. Anthony wore his tie on Christmas and looked like a stud.

I bought this shirt for my brother who is a big math nerd (majoring in math in college). He loved it! I let him open in on Christmas Eve and he wore it on Christmas. Bicycle T Shirts has other really cool shirts for both male and female!

Another gift for Anthony... I saw this shirt and just had to buy it. It's simple and stylish plus he is really into motorcycles and rides a street bike. It was the perfect find. Check out Locomotive on Etsy!

I bought this beautiful necklace for my sister, Brittney. I loved how simple and delicate it was...plus the little bow sold me. Find other fun and pretty pieces by Dreamy Vintage here.

Last but not least, this ring holder for my mom. She had been wanting a ring holder for awhile and every time we went shopping she was on the search. I searched on etsy and found this glass blown holder and knew it was the perfect find!! I was right; she loved it!! Check out Marble City Glassworks.

I just love Etsy but who doesn't?

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas...next up 2011!

love love!

Merry Christmas eve eve..

I love this week:

Christmas Vacation! Love this movie! I try to watch it at least once every Holiday Season. It just doesn't get old.

day 64

Looking at Christmas lights with my love. It always makes me happy seeing all the houses aglow.

Seeing my Christmas Tree with all the wrapped gifts underneath! I love putting the cards I receive on my tree... it's kind of a fun way to display them.

Hot Chocolate season!!

-I'm also really loving the fact that I got off early from work today! =)
-That tomorrow is Christmas Eve... and that I get to see my mommy.
-That I'm all done wrapping gifts.
and that I'm happy, healthy, and content.

What are you loving this week?

sugar!

Sugar cookies were made this past Sunday at my moms house. We had fun mixing, baking, and decorating the cookies while drinking mimosas and eating chips and dip. It was the perfect weekend for such activities as well... pouring!!

How come everyone makes decorating sugar cookies look easy? Maybe I'm challenged but it was tough! Practice, practice, practice!

Only 3 more days until Christmas!

Good friends and fun @ the bowling alley!

Let me just say that I had a blasty blast on Saturday night.
My friends are awesome.
.end.of.story.
We all know how to have a good time and be a little crazy.
And it's not just the nog talking...(or the tequila, beer, and even the Irish whiskey) but it was probably one of my favorite nights in awhile.

I can't believe that Christmas is this week!
I hope the weekend treated everyone well.

I heart

Can you believe that next week is Christmas?!? I must admit that I'm not done with my Christmas shopping and have to go back out into the madness this weekend. I did however buy a lot of gifts online this year.. I just love Etsy. I want to share them on here but I must wait until after the 25th (some of those peeps read this). Until then, here is a list of a few other things that I'm loving this week:

I'm loving the fact that my friends are having a black and white masquerade party for New years eve! It's going to be so fun! I bought my outfit at Forever 21 while attempting to Christmas shop! haha

I'm going to an Ugly Sweater Bowling party this Saturday! It's going to be so much fun! I even bought tacky earrings to go with my ugly sweater (not pictured above). Pictures will be included in the weekend roundup =)

I received my copy of The Christmas Card in the mail this week. It's a Hallmark movie that was filmed for the most part in my town (Nevada City). It's a cheesy but not horribly bad. check it out if you haven't seen it. *and if you do please note that Nevada City does have young people living here..not just older folk. thank.you.very.much.

Also loving,
-I received my new battery for my bb! *please work*
-That the hottie UPS driver keeps delivering me my packages.. it's like double the Christmas!
-baking cookies and eating them *see previous post*

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Will you be out and about shopping at the mall like me? =)

fat vs. cookies

I have been a fatty lately (as I type this I'm eating a chocolate chip cookie) but it's hard not to eat all the yummy stuff that comes along with the holidays (or anytime of year really). I'm really bad about exercising as well. I get in a little routine for about a week or two then it goes bye bye quicker than it started. I sit at a darn office desk all day too. argg...

With that being said, I signed up for a Pilate's class today that will start in January. I have never done pilates before. I have taken a few Yoga classes up at the local community college though. Is it similar? Anyway, I'm looking forward to going to it. I have to be involved in a class or something similar otherwise I don't commit. Hopefully I can tone up a bit and feel better about my body. Until then, will someone pass the cookies. =)

Speaking of cookies, I made Walnut Snowball cookies on Monday night. I found the recipe here and it's really easy. yuuuuummmmmmm!

What's been winning with you? cookies or exercise?

Santa Crawl

This last weekend my friends and I went up to the Santa Crawl in Reno, NV. We drove up Saturday afternoon and got into our hotel room @ the Circus Circus. It was pretty nice for the price (only $67 a night!). We got ready and hit the town.

The special cups! They are white but then turned reddish pink when you put a cold drink into it! They were $5 dollars but you got drink discounts at all the bars with it. Great deal! Plus a fun souvenir

There were so many people! They were saying more than 5000 people attended! Craziness! Some people go all out with their costumes. It was fun to see all the different ideas! This was my first year so maybe next year I will dress up more. I was really comfortable though plus I love my red vest! =)

The next morning we got up early, had breakfast, and drove back home...then I napped! =) I hope everyone else had a great weekend. ♥

favorites!

Things that I have been loving this week:

gossip girl!! Do I seriously have to wait over a month for the next episode!!??
I bought this sweet tie from this cool etsy shop for Anthony for Christmas. Don't worry, I told him not to peak at my blog until after the big day. I think I can trust him ;)

My pretty Christmas Tree! It makes me so happy to come home from work and sit on my couch and just stare at it. =)
The salted caramel hot chocolate from starbucks with an add shot. SOOOO good! I love the combination of flavors.

Also loving:
-The Christmas lights that are popping up on every ones homes
-The Christmas Card (a Hallmark movie filmed in my town)

What are you loving?

bahaha!

I was out last night walking around this thing called Victorian Christmas (they close of the streets. tons of vendors. music. food. etc.) and I went into my favorite store called the Grey Goose (it kind of reminds me of a store in NYC called Pylones). Its a funky little shop with tons of different things like jewelry, books, trinkets, etc. While looking through all that the store has to offer I saw these things. . .
A magnet....
a journal.
I laughed out loud. I couldn't help it.
