yay!

I have GOOD news..No I didn't switch to Geico but my computer is now up and running!!! YAY!!!

Bad news is that I can't get my pictures and music from my external hard drive onto my new one.

One step at a time I suppose..

Expect lots of updates complete with new pictures! =) I feel so out of the loop!

I missed updating! I need to add all my pictures to facebook first. =) haha

I had fantastic time in Nashville and I can't wait to rehash all the details. Until then, have a wonderful day.

weekend roundup!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!!

I sure did.

-Went to the Apple store.. they told me my hard drive bit the dust. Good thing i backed up semi recently.

-Had dinner with Anthony at BJs. Met up with Erica, Brit, Leslie, and Chris at Mels for a milkshake.

-Coffee and bagels on a perfect Saturday!

-Went on a River hike.

-Yummy dinner. Fun times at the Bar with friends.

-Superbowl party and snackies galore.

Wish I could share pictures from the events but you understand. =)

In other news, I leave for Nashville, TN on Wednesday. Spending a few days there with a friend.

Any suggestions for must sees, do's and eats?

January

Some of things that happened in the first month of the new year!

*The new year started off good.

Friends+Drinks+Dancing+Themed party+Fun Outfits

*The first week in January I drove down to LA with my friend, Leslie.

Lots of adventures in So Cal!

Plus seeing Erica (my sis) is always a great thing.

*When I came home, I was attacked by a horrible cold. I was down for 5 days with a temperature, achy body, headache.

Lingering cough and stuffy nose that is still here.

*Unseasonably warm weather! I think it rained 2 or 3 times in Jan.

It was wonderful. The sun is still shinning but it's definitely not as warm.

*Fun dates with Anthony.

Seeing a few good movies in theater.

Black Swan, No Strings Attached, and True Grit

*Fun adventures to Sacramento

*Bonfires galore!

*Dinner at my dads house

*Crab feed for the local Sportmans Club. YUMM! All you can eat!

January was pretty good (besides the whole being sick thing). I can't wait for whats in store for the rest of 2011. I have a feeling some pretty big things are going to happen in my life this year.

Thursday Loves

my Loves of the week:

♥ I started my Pilates class and I'm loving it so far! I feel like it's really going to be a great class and really help in the toning department.

♥ Gossip Girl, The Bachelor, American Idol!! Need I say more?

♥ Trying the Green Monster (fresh spinach, almond milk, banana, flax seed, ice) for breakfast. It's all the rage.. so I decided to be a follower and try it for myself.

Anthony really liked it!

♥ Eating lots of frozen yogurt this week. Twice so far. =) yum!

♥ I'm going to say it again... but.. I'm loving the weather we have been having!! It's been such a tease because i know the cold will eventually come back and I'm wearing spring like outfits.

This past weekend was seriously one of my favorites! I was just in a terribly good mood and the weather was awesomely perfect..

Friday was spent with Anthony. We had a nice little date night. Ate bomb Thai food, delicious ice cream (lemon custard!), and saw No Strings Attached.

We started planning out our trip to Costa Rica as well!

Saturday, I had coffee with a girlfriend and then we decided to drive down to Sacramento and spend the day walking around. We walked around old town Sacramento, walked over to the State Capitol, and had a sushi roll and beer @ Mikunis in midtown. Perfect!

Later that night, we had a bonfire at Ants coworkers house.

It was a nice little night.

Sunday, Ant brought me Jamba Juice in bed. =)

then we went target shooting.

followed by a nap while the football game was on.

in addition to a coffee and grocery shopping.

capped off with snuggles, tv, and reading.

simple, wonderful, relaxing, and fun all rolled into one fabulous weekend!

Venice Beach

I took a lot of pictures while I was in Venice Beach. Just wanted to share a few more. =)

This place is so photogenic. I loved spending time by the ocean with my friends. =)

Orange County and Beyond!

Hey, I'm back!

My internet is fired up and roaring. My cold has subsided. And I have pictures from LA to share!

Leslie and I drove! It's only about a 7 hour drive! We were so excited when we got there that I had a hard time falling asleep. It was nice to see Erica! I miss her all the time.

The first day in the OC was spent in downtown Orange. We went to Cuban food, explored around Chapman University, took lots of pictures, saw Tangled (for free!!), and then we went to downtown Fullerton that night for drinks and ended the night with a bowl of Pho at 3:30am. The trip started off with a bang! It was the longest day ever! 9am-4am (the next day)

Friday, Leslie and I played in Disneyland while Erica worked. I just love that place! Then, we played more once Erica got off. We got to watch World Of Color as well. awesome show. a must see if in California Adventure!

Saturday, Chris (Ericas boyfriend) picked Leslie and I up. We went to Disneyland for a little bit and waited for Erica to get off work. We decided to do dinner that night at the Boiling Crab. It was a fun place to eat. After dinner, we had a Joe Latti (the best thing ever) and then we all went to Dave and Busters to hangout with a group of people. ended up being a semi early night for a Saturday.

Sunday was our day to go play in LA. We started off with brunch that turned into being a late lunch because the wait was so long at the Griddle Cafe in West Hollywood. It was bomb! The serving sizes of the pancakes is ridiculous! After, we drove up the crazy streets of Hollywood to go to the Hollywood sign. It was a really nice day in the city. Walked around the walk of fame and drink some coffee. Drove through Beverly Hills and then to Pinks for Dinner. Then we went to City Walk in Universal Studios to go to a dueling piano bar. We saw Quentin Tarantino in the parking garage of the city walk. It was really exciting to say the least. We said hi to him. haha

Monday, we drove to Venice Beach to meet up with our friend, Dan. What an interesting area. Lots of people to look at and lots going on. While we were there they were filming 90210 (or so we were told). It was an awesome day to be at the beach...cool but perfect visbility. We watched the sunset then headed to a local bar for food and drinks. Played fun games and talked for a few more hours. Then headed back to Fullerton to go out for a little bit. Had a couple drinks, late night pastrami sandwiches at the Hat and went to bed.

Tuesday, I woke up feeling funny. Packed. Ate. Drove home. By the time I got home I was feeling really crappy.

I was supposed to go back to work Wednesday but I ended up staying home with a fever, achy body and head. for 3 days. with no internet working. I was just thankful my sickness held off until I got home. ha!

I can't wait to go back down to visit Erica. We always have so much fun and eat way too much. But who doesn't when they are on vacation? She is coming back up to Nor Cal in Feb. yay!
