Happy Halloween!

Hope everyone had a fun Halloween! We had a little party at our house on Saturday night. It was a lot of fun! We had about 15 people in our little apartment. Can't wait to do it again next year!

I'm dressed up as a peacock!!! I love the way it turned out. Anthony was Brian Wilson (fear the beard), one of the Giants pitchers!

*Don't mind the store bought pumpkins. I had no time this month to go out to our local pumpkin patch and when I had time the weather was crappy! I'm really sad about this... :(

relay!

So last this past year I was on a team for our local Relay for Life. It was a lot of fun and I was doing it in honor of my grandma who passed away at the beginning of the year from Thyroid Cancer. A few weeks after the Relay this past May I received an email from the Chair of the planning Committee and a friend of my grandmothers asking me if I was interested in being on the next years planning committee! I said Yes, of course!

I have been to two planning committee meetings so far. And this past weekend we all went to a little thing called Relay Academy. I was up before the crack of dawn this Saturday and headed down to Woodland for the event. It was lively, eventful, and moving. We had little classes we had to attend and I feel like I learned alot more about Relay and what I'm going to have to do to be apart of the planning committee for the Nevada County Relay for Life. I'm the chair of the Luminaria. I'm looking forward to figuring out a plan and learning more and more in the upcoming months.

It's going to be a lot of work but I'm up for the challenge!

I think it's a really fun event. It's inspiring and it's heartfelt. Plus you are doing something good for your community, the world, your family, friends and maybe even yourself.

I hope you all had a great weekend. Besides the above I mostly just relaxed at my house and enjoyed the rainy weather. Lots of football games on Sunday (stupid 49ers losing again!) and a birthday Celebration for my Sister.

oh happy days

this weekend was fun to say the least. It was random and perfect.

Friday I saw that new movie Life As We Know It! It was sooooo good!! I really think that everyone should see it! I laughed a lot and i cried a little too.

Saturday: I was expecting to have a relaxing day... haha, ya right!! I get a text message that afternoon from my friend asking if I wanted to go to the Rascal Flats concert that night. I don't ever turn down things like that... so off I was.

We used disposable cameras at the concert. it was so nostalgic! I love my friends. We have so much fun together.

Sunday, was a planned day full of fall activities. My sister and I drove up to Apple Hill to meet up with our cousins. We went wine tasting, walked around a few different farms, tried apple beer (epic!!), and had a fun lunch at a Mexican restaurant. it was a perfect day.

I hope everyone had an awesome weekend. Lets hope this work week is bearable.

P.S. Happy 22nd Birthday to my baby sister, I love you.

i need a vacation.

I have been extra tired this week. I feel like I sleep well during the night but then I still don't feel refreshed in the mornings. I daydream about napping while at work and feel my eyes getting heavy while staring at the computer screen. I just can't seem to focus at work this week either. My attention span is that of a 2 year old. I look at my phone constantly and check the time.

I think that means that it's time for another vacation! I'm thinking some where tropical next. I would go back to NYC in a heart beat but I know Anthony has his heart set on somewhere with a beach and warm.

I'm thinking Costa Rica, Hawaii, Belize, or maybe even one of the US Virgin Islands.

I can see myself now. laying on the beach. drink in hand. big floppy hat on my head. smile on my face. worry, stress, and fatigue gone. *sigh*

After being sick pretty much all week... I'm headed to San Francisco for the weekend! 49ers game on Sunday!

-Possible drive to either Applehill or Truckee, CA. I want to check out a restaurant that was profiled on Diners, Drive-In's and Dives. =)

-Bike ride??

-Sunday night football!
