RIP

Connor Anthony Osko
March 16th, 2009------- April 24th, 2009

Too Short. Too Young. Too Cute. Soooo Sad.

Life isn't guaranteed to any of us but its something that is expected, especially when you are a healthy new born baby. There is this strange phenomenon that took baby Connor's life, it's called SIDs (Sudden Infant Death) and it's just that... sudden. It takes about 1 out of every 2000 babies born each year.

I'm so sad for my cousin Kyla and her fiance Anthony's loss. Its tremendous and it breaks my heart. I'm sad in the fact that I never got to meet the little guy. He was only 5 weeks old and I had time to see him. But that's just it... I didn't and I didn't know. I know that he was wonderful baby because I know his parents and they are great people. I know that this will be hard for them but I also know that my cousin, Kyla will make the most of the horrible situation that she was handed and help others. She has a zest for life that most envy (myself included) and she will turn her lemons into lemonade as time heals
her wounds.

pondering

Do you ever wonder where the people from your past are? What they are doing? Who they have become?

People come in and out of your life in a matter of minutes, hours, days, months, and years. I feel the impact of this. I think the majority of people that i have spent time with have influenced my life in some form or another. It's crazy to think of the number of people this could amount to.

I was just reminiscing with Erica and thinking about all the fun times we have had together. Also the fact that I'm stepping back in time and having a Bunker Babe reunion this weekend has brought back a ton of old memories.
Have a good weekend!

daydreaming

Last weekend was my friend of 20+ years wedding. We have known each other forever! It was a really fun day and I was glad to be apart of it. I didn't really take any pictures but I happen to follow the blog of the photographer that did. Click here and hopefully she will have some up soon.
And now they are in ROME on their honeymoon. How freaking perfect is that? I'm glad she got her dream honeymoon! I can't wait to see the pictures!

Speaking of Rome... I need to go somewhere... now. I have a slight case of cabin fever. Going to New Zealand has really sparked the travel bug inside of me. I already knew that I wanted to travel but i didn't realize that my desire would be this strong. I just need to GO!

Here's a list of things I want to do in the near future:

1. NEW YORK (Ant and I are going to try and plan a trip there in the fall)

2. Disneyland.... for obvious reasons. It's the happiest place on earth. duh.

3. Somewhere tropical. I'm thinking Hawaii because I have never been. I would love to go to the US Virgin Islands too. Aruba, Belize, Fiji. JUST TAKE ME! :)

4. Road Trip in the USA

Well these are the few that I know I might get to do at least this year. Next year traveling abroad will be insight. Europe and Japan here I come!
