I just stumbled across this quote. I feel like it's speaking volumes to me right now.

I have recently watched the new show called The Conversation. It's really good. The woman are open and honest. It's refreshing to hear celebrities talk so openly about life.

TGIF...again.

Well apparently I only write updates on Fridays. Sorry about that. I have been in a real mood lately. I'm hoping with the change in temperature and the fact that I will be able to listen to Christmas music without it being early soon will change that. Seriously though, I put some Frank Sinatra on and my mood goes up a few notches! I love the holiday season.

I also want to give a shout out to all those Veterans out there! And to all those still serving! Thank you!! xoxo

that one time i wore a dress..

I'm doing it. I'm doing an outfit post. My first time ever.

I'm not that fashionable person but I would like to think that I can put together a cute outfit. On an everyday basis you can usually find me in jeans, some kind of tee, possibly a scarf or a necklace, and either flats, sandals, or TOMS. Oh and maybe a cardigan if its chilly or I'm going to work.

Dress: Forever 21, Necklace: local store called Contrast, Jacket: Target, Shoes: Payless

I wanted to be able to wear this dress without the nylons and totally different shoes but it was cold... so i worked with what I had.

Oh and don't mind my goofiness. I can't help that.. I was born that way. =)

I was out last night walking around this thing called Victorian Christmas (they close of the streets. tons of vendors. music. food. etc.) and I went into my favorite store called the Grey Goose (it kind of reminds me of a store in NYC called Pylones). Its a funky little shop with tons of different things like jewelry, books, trinkets, etc. While looking through all that the store has to offer I saw these things. . .

News

Good news:

I sold my Tickets for the Saturday show to Rent and found better seats for the show on Sunday! Things happen for a reason.

Bad news:

I have a cold. Stuffy runny nose and the sinus pressure to go along with it. I just got done taking an antibiotic for a sinus infection.. go figure.

Exciting news:

I'm having Mexican food for dinner... Yep... that's just how exciting my life is.

Some things I want at this moment:

-to leave work early to go to the bank and deposit my monies

-frozen yogurt with mochi and fresh fruit

-a mountain bike so i can start training for the triathlon (September 20th FYI)

-strength for the gym tonight

-a big bowl of pasta or a slice of thin crust pineapple pizza

I'm not going to lie...I'm really digging these TOMS. I think I'm going to buy a pair. They will look super cute with a pair of jean capris or shorts. Not to mention there is a good cause behind them. Buy a pair and they give a pair to a needy person. Good reason.

Do you ever wonder where the people from your past are? What they are doing? Who they have become?

People come in and out of your life in a matter of minutes, hours, days, months, and years. I feel the impact of this. I think the majority of people that i have spent time with have influenced my life in some form or another. It's crazy to think of the number of people this could amount to.

I was just reminiscing with Erica and thinking about all the fun times we have had together. Also the fact that I'm stepping back in time and having a Bunker Babe reunion this weekend has brought back a ton of old memories.

I'm excited for tonight. I'm taking my friends sushi virginity away and introducing her to the best (the world) our town has to offer, Sushi in the Raw. I hope she will like it as much as I do. (Mom, your next... prepare yourself!)

Just annoyed..

I was supposed to get my hair cut today but my stinkin hair stylist is sick. My hair is really bugging me right now!!! AHHHHHH!!!! GRRRR!!!!!!! Just needed to complain a tad.

well back to work. damn.
